2500 NM!! WOW! We hit a big milestone. We left as soon as we could see some buoys to leave the marina since it was a little tricky to get in to Pebble Isle Marina. After we were back in the river it was easier to see the buoys and it was lighter out. It was a 54.3 NM ride that took 9.5 hours. Long days make Hal tired.
We arrived at Clifton Marina to see a lot of familiar faces already there. O'Tug, Tom and Theresa were there and some people we met at Green Turtle Bay. They recommended the restaurant but we already had plans to eat with Mary and Chris. Mary made a delicious pork loin dinner and I contributed a salad and pumpkin crisp for dessert. After a yummy meal, we went back to the boat to get an early start for another long day. We are making another big push to get through the Pickwick Lock to Grand Harbor to meet up with Jackpot, New Hope and Knot Ready.
