We had a short stay in Green Turtle Bay this time. Just long enough to recuperate and provision. I did get my nails done by Shawana at Jade and Earth and she did the best manicure I have ever had. Hal and I also had the opportunity to eat at Docker's this time for breakfast. It was delicious, filling and reasonably priced.
Originally we were going to anchor out in Panther Bay for the night, however the weather was reported to have 44 mph gusts of wind. After a group meeting, we called Paris Landing and asked if they had room for us. I talked to Rick, who told me there was plenty of room, however it is on a first come first serve basis. Our initial arrival time was going to be around 3:30, however there was a little issue on the way. Cashelmara lost their engine about 3 miles from the marina. At first Chris was able to get it started, but it quickly stopped. He diagnosed the problem as a clogged fuel line, but with the winds gusting 20-25 knots, and the current it was not a safe situation to do it in the lake. Captain Hal to the rescue! We towed Cashelmara. I was able to catch the line as we passed by on the first try and quickly got it secured. Once we were headed in the correct direction, Hal went down and set up a bridle. We were underway again and headed to the marina.
As this was going on I realized that I had an infected finger. As Chris was in contact with us, I had been calling the marina about an urgent care nearby. Rick, who worked at the marina, told me there was one about 20 minutes away. I asked if there was a way to get me there and he told me he would figure it out. I went online and registered for the urgent care in the meantime.

Rick and I after he took me to Walgreens.
When we got to the marina, we were able to throw the lines for Cashelmara to et to the dock. We quickly tied up and Rick brought me to the urgent care in his own vehicle. He was extremely nice and waited 1.5 hours for me. Rick kindly offered for us to all go out to dinner with him and his wife Susan. She was at the marina and brought Hal, Chris, Mary and Skipper to the restaurant to meet us. We all had a pleasant meal together. In the morning, Rick brought me back to the town to get my prescription for antibiotics. I can't say enough about the hospitality of the people at Paris Landing. The marina was really nice, clean and had a nice ship's store.
