Here's 45 seconds of time lapse in the Hudson River and also transiting the Federal Lock in Troy NY. Total travel time was about 1 hour or so. You may be able to get a feel for how long the lock chamber is, there were 2 boats behind us and room for many more boats, lift was about 17 feet.....
