Today we actually went down in two locks, Lock 21 and 22. Going down 26 and 25 feet is very different then going up.
We entered Lake Oneida at 12:08 and crossed by 2:45 pm. The lake was like glass. Smooth, beautiful crossing. Sylvan Beach was a very busy area. It was a weekend so every boater was out in full force.
We stayed at Ess-Kay Marina in Brewerton. They could not have been nicer. They had loaner cars for us to use for provisioning. The grassy area had chairs, tables and even a hammock.
They say to have no schedule because of the weather. Since there were reports of thunderstorms we stayed an extra day. (Time to get a mani-pedi.) Also we received a package of Talii towels that I ordered.. Love those towels.
Some original mailboxes around.
Craving some sushi. Wegmans to the rescue.
